Sporty Chic
Besides sunscreen or umbrellas, a cap is an all-time staple for any season or weather not only for men but also women. Caps are especially something some ladies would sometimes avoid wearing or investing in as we instead use more accessible alternatives such as sunscreen to protect our faces from the rays of the sun. In my opinion, caps or hats are not only to protect our skin. Hence, it is a fashion statement for many occasions. You could go for a walk down the street, stroll down the beach, attend casual activities, camping, concerts, events like Coachella and so much more with a cap.
With this, I was excited to be involved with Fanatics for creating a 'sports luxe' look with their caps and some matching outfits. I chose a Boston Nike Feather Light 2.0 cap from Fanatics' Red Sox Hats section for a sporty yet elegant ensemble for this era.
As seen on the collage above, I compliment the Fanatic cap with an Adidas Superstar Colour Block sweatshirt with a white inner crop tee of T by Alexander Wang, a long black skirt, Adidas Stan Smith shoes, and an H&M fringed bag to achieve a casual look for the day. The matching colour of black and red on the Boston cap suits the whole outfit perfectly and you can rock this style throughout your day, especially in chilling weather.
If you want more elegance, change your sweatshirt to a simple black crop top by T by Alexander Wang with a pair of high heels of your choice or maintain the Adidas shoes lastly not forget your Boston cap. If you prefer to style at a lower cost like me but still maintain the look, you can mix and match your Boston cap with a simple printed sweatshirt and any white shoes you love.
