Makeup Essentials

Weather tends to get humid most of the days in Malaysia and we have to think twice before putting on makeup.  We're more prone to have oily skin as we sweat more often and we had to be more picky in buying products that we're applying on our face. Waterproof makeups may be the best choice but sometimes they feel sticky on your face and you don't want that to distract you from having a good day. The products that I chose for this post are not waterproof but they're subtle to your face. I love earthy tone or lighter colour shades of makeups as I don't really like overdoing my face but just to add a little more shine. This is perfect for any seasons and especially the gold colour packaging are just SCORE. If you're finding any products to achieve a natural look, you're in the right space. Keep reading!

1. Estée Lauder Hydra Rose Lipstick (09 Venetian Rose)
I really love the gold holder and that was what attracted me most and same goes to the product inside. I love the sweet scent and the name (of course the name plays a big role HAHA) of the lipstick, even though I'm not fancy over something that is sweet. It is easy to apply and leaves your lips soft and moisturised. Small and compatible. Suitable for any occasion.

2. SILKYGIRL Natural Brow Pencil (Soft Black)
My mom used this for quite awhile and she recommended me this since the drawings does not easily smudge and the colour fits perfectly to my skin tone. This little pencil fits in any makeup bag so its a great option for travel. If you prefer this pencil in other colour, dark black or brown are available.

3. Credit Beauty Lovely Eye Colour
I got this eye shadow for free after purchasing their nail remover. I never use their products before but their eye shadow are great for daytime. They look effortless and natural on your eyelids. I couldn't understand the labelling but I believe it is in nude colour. Give this a try if you want to achieve a more natural eye look.

4. Clinique Lash Power Mascara (01 Black Onyx)
Super light and easy to put on. It dries quickly and no residues bugging your eyelash. It's a bonus to most ladies as after applying, they won't leave any small blobs of black ink on your eyelash. Looks natural and will not curl your eyelash too much.

5. Estée Lauder High Gloss (02 Ivory)
This is a go if you love sweet, candy-ish scent. This gloss is shiny and a little sticky. I do not know why it is sticky but the stickiness magically moisturises your lips. Soft colour and it does not look too appealing on your lips. The opening of this tube is really cool. The opening is slightly narrow and once you press the gloss out, you can just apply it directly without using any lip brush. Easy to use and the gold colour is just another bonus.
