Tony Moly Delight Tony Tint | Review
Is it an old-school lip tint that actually stains your lips the whole day? Look no further than the one and only Tony Moly Delight Tony Tint. I was first introduced to this lip tint by beauty gurus on the Internet in the mid-2010s. Despite the evolution of watery lip tints to the current blurry lip tints, I still stand by the old version of lip tints as they are easy to apply for a natural, everyday look.
Packaging: Comes in a heart-shaped plastic tube with a long, thin spolly brush for application.
Colour: There are 3 colour options to choose from. In this review, the colour is 02 red.
Consistency: Its watery texture feels light and breathable on the lips. With the tint, you can create either full-coloured lips or stained-coloured lips depending on how much you apply.
Colour payoff: Sheer, matte finish. It's buildable, which means with more layers, the more intense the colour will look.
Lasting power: Lasts throughout the day if there's no to less contact with super oily food. The colour slowly fades to natural red if there's no touch-up. I would recommend moisturising the lips with lip balm or lip oil before applying lip tint. As it can cause dryness on the lips.
Scent: It has a mild sweet scent and little cooling sensation when applied.
Benefits: Creates the illusion that you have natural healthy, youthful lips.
Key ingredients:
Rosehip Oil - Rich in silica, it gives hair and skin smoothness, radiance, and strength.
Argan Oil- Firms, hydrates, and protects skin from free radicals.
Jojoba Oil - High in antioxidants, to protect the skin from the damaging effects of the sun.
How I Apply Lip Tint:
1. Swipe across the inner lip starting from the centre out.
2. Apply a second coat if needed.
3. Use my finger to smudge or lighten the intensity of the colour on my lips.
4. Wipe with a Q-tip on the lips edges if needed.
Final verdict: An affordable, starter choice for those who want to try lip tints, or if you're looking for a Benefit Benetint dupe, this comes close in terms of consistency and texture. Do you prefer the old tint or the newer version? Do let me know~ speak soon x
