3INA Lip Vinyl & Kajal Eye Liner | Review

3ina lip vinyl and kajal
3INA is a relatively new cosmetic name I've attested recently. Their branding is characterized as modern, innovative and aesthetically pleasing. I first knew 3INA through their Instagram-sponsored post on my feed, and immediately fell in love with them since then.

3INA is a cruelty-free and vegan cosmetic brand which hails from Europe.  Little did I know that their makeup line is distributed to Malaysia for sale until I stumbled upon their makeup counter at Pavillion (which can be seen on my recent KL trip post). I was super excited to try out their lip range, and without a doubt, the formulations were unique, unlike other lip products I'd tried. With that said, I'll be reviewing their Lip Vinyl (lip gloss) and Kajal (eyeliner).

Side note: they come up with the most adorable names for their products!

3INA The Lip Vinyl in 705

Packaging: 10/10 minimal and sleek packaging. Straight-to-the-point description of the product.

Formulation
A hybrid of gloss and cream lipstick. It gives a healthy shine to the lip without looking too oily or glossy like your usual gloss. With just one dip, the product glides on my lip smoothly. The applicator is also thin enough to create precision around the lip. My lip feels a little sticky when I first apply it but fades away after it dries down. It feels lightweight on the lips. The pigment of the colour translates on my lips similarly to the colour inside the tube and packaging.

Lasting power
It lasts pretty well on the lips- a little longer than your standard gloss but a little shorter than your regular lipstick. The product does transfer since it's a gloss. If you do not consume oily food, this lasts half a day with one coat (also depending on how thick or thin you apply).

Colour
I choose 705 which is a red-brown colour that is closest to my natural lip colour. This has become my favourite shade for an everyday lazy look and a "My lips but better" (#MLBB) staple in my lip collection.

Price
RM69. Affordable mid-price that comes with a high-quality product.

3INA The Kajal in 406

Packaging
Similar rating to the lip vinyl.

Formulation
I am entirely new to the world of eyeliner so my opinions are based on an amateur perspective. When I first swatch it on my hand, it glides on smoothly. The eyeliner comes in a crayon pencil tube with a thin tip towards the end. The product itself feels creamy, similar to a child's crayon. It smudges easily, and I find it great to use it as a cream eyeshadow as it blends smoothly onto the skin without much effort. I prefer to use it as a single eyeshadow than eyeliner.

Lasting power
It lasts a decent 4-5 hours without a makeup base. For a longer-lasting effect, this requires the use of an eye primer or base to hold the liner or eyeshadow in place for longer hours.

Colour
I chose 406 a semi-dark neutral brown as I find it to blend well with my olive skin tone. Definitely a classic colour of cream eyeliner for a natural makeup look.

Price
RM69 - affordable mid-price that is worth the high-quality product.

3INA is an all-rounded makeup brand that everyone should try for an effortless everyday look.

You can purchase this at their kiosk in Pavillion or online at ZALORA  / HERMO (unfortunately these two products I featured are only available at their booth).
