Unifon Long Lasting Moisturising Green Tea Facial Mask | Review
Unifon is a C-beauty (Chinese beauty) brand that specializes in producing products using natural ingredients with modern techniques. They claimed their products to be certified by the US FDA & COA. The face mask that I'll introduce in this entry is the Unifon Long Lasting Moisturising Green Tea Facial Mask. UniHydra formula was invested in these facial masks to achieve the hydrating, maintaining, and water-locking functions. This is my first Chinese skincare product to be tested on its moisture level and overall performance as a face mask.
I used up the face masks without any pictures, hence the lack of visuals. Hope my explanation could do the least of painting the actual picture. The texture is similar to most face masks available on the market, which come in a white sheet covered with essences. The texture of the sheet is soft and easy to peel. The mask comes in a faint green tea scent.
The full ingredient list was unavailable online, however, the main 3 ingredients are cloud tea, Yunnan green tea, and Yunnan camellia. The unfermented cloud tea is known to provide water replenishment to the skin with its natural properties. Yunnan green tea on the other hand provides long-lasting moisture to the skin. The polysaccharide of green tea allows the "locking" of moisture on the skin. Yunnan camellia is great for retaining moisture which creates smoother and tender skin.
I could not analyze based on only the main ingredients mentioned. However, based on my usage of the face mask, it feels like your standard face mask which provides moisture to the skin. I can feel my skin is supple and glows after use.
My final verdict is the product is a great basic staple in everyone's skincare cabinet. A simple moisturizing facial mask that does as it claims. However, do note that the full ingredient lists were not found online, hence, I would not be able to recommend this to any specific group of people.
