Are no heat hair curlers worth the hype? | Review
Heatless curlers may be one of the best choices to create soft curls on bangs without damaging the hair. There is a myriad of options for heatless curlers, but this week I'll only be covering the smalls for bangs and fringes. Let's explore the differences between a clip-on and a round-bang curler. Can these affordable clips produce great results without breaking the bank?
Clip bang curler
Clip-style bang curler works best will a longer bang or fringe. Highly recommend these if you have curtain bangs as it comes in a pair to fix two sides of your frontal hair. The shape is cylindrical, making it easy to roll medium-length fringe or bang in place. The bristles are soft yet sturdy enough to hold a good amount of hair. The elongated shape can easily make soft waves on both sides of your long bangs. I found this pair on Shopee, which is quite a different approach from the traditional rounded curler. However, there might be fallout if you have thick fringes or bangs as the curler is thin. In such cases, you might need to use more than 1 to secure one side of the hair.
How I use the curler: Push the clip open (similar to pic 1), grab your bang starting from the ends and start rolling up onto one side of the bristle clip. Once rolled up, release the clip for closure. I would use this with semi-wet hair and let it dry naturally before releasing the curler. If I'm in a rush, I will roll up my dry hair and release it after another routine. Spray on setting spray to set the curls.
