Isntree Green Tea Fresh Toner | Review

Let's have a cup of green tea and chat about green tea in a field of green tea. A simple tongue twister to warm you up for a deeper dive into the goodness of green tea. I've previously blogged on Benton Green Tea Toner, which works wonders on the skin. As I searched for other green tea toner options, Isntree popped up, and I knew I had to test it out for myself. Isntree has been quite hyped recently with sponsored brand videos on several K-beauty vloggers. Curious to know more? Keep reading.
Isntree Green Tea Fresh Toner comes in an amber-tinted plastic bottle with a black cap. Each bottle comes in a 200ml bottle, a smart gimmick as plastic bottles can create a ton of waste. Bigger bottle means creating less waste. I understand that some products come in a smaller size to maintain the freshness and efficacy of the product. However, toner generally lasts well despite the size. Hoping that they come up with a bigger size, e.g. 500ml.

I was surprised by the colour of the toner as it represents the actual colour of green tea. It looks murky brown and smells like herbs. It can be an unpleasant experience during the initial stage, but the longer I use it, the more I'm immune to the scent.

When I first apply the toner to my skin, the colour remains until all is absorbed. Interestingly, the colour doesn't stain the skin. Instead, my skin feels supple and smooth after applying it.

However, be warned that it can stain white or light-coloured garments if you're not careful (I had a white shirt stained by the toner and stubborn to be removed). That's the only downside to this toner.

I highly recommend this toner to any skin type as it's super gentle with an excellent absorption level.

Ingredient list: Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Water, Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract, Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract, Vaccinium Angustifolium (Blueberry) Fruit Extract, Pinus Palustris Leaf Extract, Ulmus Davidiana Root Extract, Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Flower Extract, Pueraria Lobata Root Extract, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Allantoin, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Beta-Glucan, Disodium EDTA, Hydroxyacetophenone

The Isntree Green Tea Fresh Toner contains Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract (80%) & Centella Asiatica Extract (0.01%).

The price point is reasonable considering the amount you get. Not many had known about the green tea toner, unlike their blue series. Hope that you found this helpful and will speak to you soon.

    1. Hi there! Both are equally good toners for acne prone skin, but Isntree one provides better hydration! You can consider trying Isntree green tea toner and see if helps manage your face's oil sebum production! ;)
