Wet n Wild Makeup Brushes | Review

Makeup brushes are similar to paint brushes, except they paint on a different canvas. A good brush is crucial to complete the makeup process. The many variations of brushes can be daunting to choose to fit a makeup need. As a person who wears minimal makeup, concealer and eyeliner brushes are the most essential among the other brushes. The reason is that highlighting the eye section and covering blemishes are the foundations for natural, effortless makeup. I'll be reviewing Wet n Wild as I've heard good things about their brushes so here's my verdict.

Wet n Wild claims the concealer and eyeliner brushes to be vegan, cruelty-free and not tested on animals. The brushes feature two-toned synthetic Polymax fibres made of an exclusive thermoplastic polymer complex that mimics the consistency of natural hairs to pick up formula effortlessly.

As the brand mentions, the brushes are soft and easy to use. The brushes don't absorb too much makeup and easily transfer the product onto the skin.

My favourite feature of these brushes is the dented handle which fits the thumb for grip and control. Another important point of a good brush is that it maintains its shape after multiple washes. The Wet n Wild ones do just that and they're considered durable.

How I Wash Them:
1. Wet the brushes with water.
2. Apply foam soap onto your palm.
3. Gently glide back and forth of the brushes on the foam.
4. Runs below water.
5. Repeat steps 3-4 until they're clean.
6. Air-dry them on a small towel.

Overall, I'm satisfied with the quality (plus a low price point) and highly recommend Wet n Wild makeup brushes. What are your go-to brushes for makeup? Let me know in the comments below!
