Need a perfect serum? I have a perfect serum to recommend to you. The Miss En Scene Perfect Serum is one of the most popular Korean hair serums that are affordable yet effective on the hair. If you experience dry or coarse hair texture, you can consider investing in a good hair oil like this one to leave your hair smooth and supple. They come in variations of formulation for different styling purposes.

I was recommended this product by my sister and I've loved it ever since. Here's my review of the Miss En Scene Perfect Rose Perfume Serum. 

About the brand: The brand's name, mise en scène, is a French phrase that means "scene arrangement." In modern theatre and film, it refers to aesthetic directing that takes into account people, makeup, lighting, background, and even camera movement.

Packaging: The hair oil comes in a solid plastic bottle with a twistable pump head that allows it to switch 'lock' when not in use to avoid leakage.

Consistency: Not too watery or thick. Although it feels like oil, the product quickly absorbs into the hair when applied. 

Scent: The version I bought has a Rose scent to it. However, they have a wide range of scents for different styling purposes. 

 

Absorption: I'm surprised this is the first hair oil that is quick to dry and does not leave any oily film. My hair feels soft and smooth after use without feeling greasy. 

Benefits:

• Gives life back to dull, damaged hair.
• Lightly scented with an opulent rose fragrance.
• A unique blend of seven different health-promoting oils that are organic and improve the suppleness, lustre, and strength of hair.
• Use serum formula to treat split ends, dryness, tangles, and rough texture.

Price: Super affordable for the amount of product you get. 80 ml can last for more than half a year if you use it once every 2 days. 

Downside: the only cons of the hair oil is that because I have acne-prone skin, daily use can cause acne on my side profile.

How I Apply The Hair Serum:

1. With wet hair, I pump 2-3 drops of oil (depending on the thickness and length of your hair) on my palm.

2. Rub it and slide it down on the lower parts of my hair or the ends of the hair (preferably don't apply to roots).

3. Use a hair dryer and dry my hair as usual. 

*Tips: You can apply the serum on wet or dry hair.
