Some By Mi Clear Spot Patch | Review

Years after the first pimple patch invention, the stickers get thinner and less visible. There are many more variations to browse from - colourful and shape-ful fun stickers with smiley faces or starry stars. However, I find the basics to work best, especially under makeup. If you're debating between brands, I recommend these Some By Mi patches that look almost nothing on the skin.
Some By Mi is a popular Korean skincare brand. I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of these pimple patches, as they adhere very well to the skin, even after cleansing the face. These patches come in a zip-lock plastic bag, with 18 patches in 2 different sizes stickers.

Ingredients: Hydrocolloid, Lavender, Salicylic acid, Eucalyptus oil, Tea tree oil, Peppermint, Polyisobutene, polyurethane-9, polyisoprene, cellulose gum.

Main active ingredients:
Hydrocolloid – absorbs fluids and protects the wound from environmental irritations or infections.
Lavender – contains anti-inflammatory properties, moisturizes skin, and acts antibacterial.
Salicylic acid – directly dissolves the keratin plugs that contribute to debris and acne in the skin and regulates skin cells.
Eucalyptus oil – contains anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.
Tea tree oil – controls excessive sebum, and improves the appearance of acne-prone skin without aggravating it.
Peppermint -promotes blood flow and achieve a lively skin.

These patches are super thin, allowing makeup to cover them smoothly without being obvious. The circular shape works best as a cover for any kind of pimple compared to an oval or any other shape. Besides, I appreciate the ring dent inside the circle which helps to stop acne bleeds from spreading further or leaking outside of the patch. I've experienced leakage on other patches but because of the design of the patch, it secures even on wounded acne.

How I use an invisible pimple patch: After cleansing the pimple/acne wound with face cleanser, dry the wound, stick on it before it starts producing clear liquid (serous fluid) or clear-blood mixture liquid. Preferably use it at night and leave it overnight for best result. Change a new patch if the sticker turns cloudy (this means the gunk has been absorbed by the patch).

I highly recommend this easy and straightforward patch for any bad skin days. What's your go-to acne/pimple SOS remedy? Would love to know yours and speak soon x
