Bath & Body Work Aromatherapy Stress Relief Body Wash & Body Lotion | Review

Imagining stepping into a spa that smells like a calming bottle of therapeutic scent, that’s what Bath & Body Works’ Aromatherapy Eucalyptus & Tea range reminds me of. Even though this aromatherapy range has been around for a while, I didn’t realise how good the product was until I gave it a try. The body wash and lotion have since become a regular part of my routines, thanks to the soothing, grounding feeling they give. (But also, switching to a new bath set that will be out as a review soon!). Here’s the breakdown on what makes this bath set special.

Packaging: These illustrations shown are the old packaging and have since changed to a new packaging design. The Eucalyptus & Tea collection immediately gives off a sense of luxury just from how it looks. The body lotion comes in a solid glass bottle with a metal pump top. The body wash is in a sleek squeeze bottle that’s thoughtfully designed. Whether you're keeping them on the bathroom rack or gifting them, these bottles look elegant and well-made, definitely a step up from your usual drugstore packaging.

Consistency & Absorption: The body wash features a creamy, moisturising texture that lathers beautifully without being overly soapy. It doesn’t leave your skin feeling stripped or squeaky; instead, it glides on smoothly, rinses clean, and leaves a soft, lightly hydrated finish. The calming scent of essential oils fills the shower, making the experience even more relaxing.

The body lotion has a smooth, medium-weight texture. It’s not overly thick, but rich enough to feel like a treat. It absorbs quickly into the skin with little to no residue, making it a great choice for daytime use or layering before bed.

Scent: What makes the Eucalyptus & Tea shine is its scent. Clean, herbal, and calming, like freshly steeped tea leaves blended with slight mint from the eucalyptus. It strikes a balance between earthy and refreshing, making it ideal for moments when you need to unwind.

Unlike some eucalyptus-based products that can be overly minty or medicinal, this one is softened by the tea extract. It’s a unisex scent that is not overly floral or sweet, and it lingers just enough to leave a soft, aromatic trail on the skin.

Ingredients & Skin Benefits: Both products feature formulations centred around essential oils and skin-nourishing botanicals. The body wash contains coconut oil, shea butter, cocoa butter, aloe, and vitamins. These ingredients are known for their hydrating and soothing properties. It’s sulphate and dye-free.

The lotion is enriched with shea butter, vitamin E, aloe, eucalyptus oil, and tea extract. It leaves the skin feeling soft, healthy, and lightly fragranced. There are no parabens or artificial dyes; however, they do contain other potential allergens such as fragrance and BHT. If you have eczema or allergic skin, you may need to consult your dermatologist or doctor.

My Experience: As someone with normal skin type, using this duo feels like giving myself permission to pause, whether I’m starting my day with a quick shower or winding down at night. I enjoyed the eucalyptus scent, which helps clear my mind and promote focus, while the tea extract introduces calm and clarity. This makes it great for those who are looking to incorporate small wellness habits into their routine. Think of a five-minute spa moment before bed, or a peaceful breath before a chaotic workday.

Final Thoughts: Bath & Body Works’ Aromatherapy Eucalyptus & Tea Body Wash and Lotion set isn’t just another duo on your bathroom shelf. It’s a therapeutic experience with a scent that feels timeless and clean. Whether you’re using it for stress relief, self-care, or simply because it smells amazing, it delivers equally well.
