Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Asiatica Ampoule (Updated) | Review

Renewed packaging always brings some form of excitement and reconnection to the product, which is refreshing to the eyes and brings a new experience to the test. As I re-review a cult favourite- the Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Asiatica Ampoule, I'll be adding a few additional pieces of information I've not shared in my previous review. You can read my old post here for more inclusive details.

I've made a review in the past, do head over to read the Full Review

The new packaging comes in 3 sizes which suit your budget. The ampoule now is packed in an amber-tinted glass bottle, which looks more luxurious and makes it easy to keep an eye on the amount used. The droplet stick is also made out of glass and overall looks cohesive with the bottle. The tip of the droplet is slightly bent and thinner for easier application. Unlike the old droplet that is straight and thicker in size. I much prefer the new packaging considering all the improved features.

Breakdowns of 100% Centella Asiatica Extract:
30% Asiaticoside: Enhances the skin's water-to-oil balance
30% Asiatica acid: Strengthens the skin's barrier and anti-ageing properties (antioxidant).
40% Madecassic acid: Repairs damaged skin and evens out scars.

The brand also claims that the ampoule is hypoallergenic and pH balanced at 6.0 (healthy skin is between pH4.5-6.5) and brings hydration to the skin. The ingredients remain the same as in the old packaging, bringing similar goodness and pure ingredients from the island of Madagascar.

Helpful Tips:
Aside from using it as part of a skincare routine, I would sometimes create a concoction of my favourite skin toner + the Centella Asiatica ampoule to use as a quick DIY mask when my skin is troubled.

Is your skin irritated from skin sensitivity or acne? The Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Asiatica Ampoule is a must-try to reduce redness and repair damaged skin barriers.
